The RTB will issue a warning letter to a non-compliant party on receipt of a request for enforcement of the terms of a Determination Order. If a party receives such letter but is in fact compliant with the terms of the Determination Order, evidence to this effect should be provided to the RTB in writing or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Non-compliance has serious consequences. If a party is non-compliant, the RTB would strongly advise the party to comply or seek legal advice on the matter.
If a warning letter from the RTB or its solicitors is ignored, the RTB will continue with the enforcement process. Failure to respond and comply may leave a party liable to the RTB for costs if legal proceedings are commenced.
